Did you know… Jerilyn has led not one, but two, at risk tribal health organizations through a successful comprehensive restructuring? Jerilyn nearly doubled the staff and tripled the budget at American Indian Health and Family Services in Detroit. Jerilyn also stewarded the Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board out from under nearly three million dollars of debt, and GPTCHB emerged from 15 years of audits with negative findings to an organization with 6 consecutive years of clean audits with the last 4 years with no findings at all.
Did you know… Jerilyn was one of eight national scholars, and that she was the first American Indian out of 40,000 graduates when she graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University?
Did you know… Jerilyn graduated with her master’s degree from the #1 ranked School of Social Work in nation, where only 1 in 20 who apply are accepted, and she specialized Human Services Management? Jerilyn went on to establish the first American Indian Field Education program for the University Michigan School of Social Work, and was recognized last year as a Distinguished Alumni by the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
