Sioux San Update: Statement from GPTCHB CEO

December 17, 2018

Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board (GPTCHB) is committed to the pursuit of every means that will serve to improve the health status of the tribes and their members.

That is our mission and our expertise. You may have heard that GPTCHB prevailed in both Oglala Sioux Tribal Court and federal court in the attempt to circumvent the inherent sovereign right of tribes and GPTCHB to pursue the Title I contracting of the Sioux San under P.L. 93-638. True triumph will be achieved when we fully engage, embrace and ensure the confidence of the users of Sioux San and its dedicated staff.
