Message from the Chief Executive Officer:
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The past year has been a year of growth and progression for the Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Health Board (GPTCHB). The non-profit organization has made substantial gains after undergoing a major restructure in 2012, and I am excited and invigorated by the opportunities that lie ahead.
With the success that GPTCHB has enjoyed over the past year, some historical obstacles have also been present. However, I am confident and optimistic that with the dedicated GPTCHB staff, the year 2014 will be just as successful, if not more successful, and we will be able to overcome many of the challenges our organization faces.
As I reflect on the year 2013, I am humbled and thankful for the GPTCHB Board of Directors and staff and tribes that we represent. I’m also thankful for the many com-munity members our programs serve who allow the health board to play an influential role in their lives. It’s inspirational to see such a wide range of people come together under the common cause of improving the health of our people.
It is so exciting to be able to share some of GPTCHB’s standout moments from the year 2013 with you, and I greatly value the partnerships we have. I also greatly value your interest in the health board and wish you a happy 2014.
In health and wellness,
Jerilyn LeBeau Church
