RAPID CITY — The Great Plains Tribal Leaders Health Board and the Oyate Health Center are eagerly awaiting the arrival of more vaccines to distribute to the community.
In the next several weeks, the Oyate Health Center hopes to expand its distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine to more community members. So far the organization has provided the vaccine to its healthcare teams and has prioritized frontline workers.
As more vaccines arrive from the Indian health Service we will begin rolling out several vaccination clinics for the public, starting with the elderly and patients who have been deemed high-risk by their provider.
You can make sure your name is on the list to receive vaccination by filling out the form included here. To sign up for the vaccine through the Oyate Health Center you must be an Indian Health Service eligible individual.
There are many questions about the vaccine. We have included several infographics below that may help answer them.
