Tinka is an enrolled member of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and has worked at the health board since 2004. Throughout her employment with GPTCHB she has held a number of positions under the health board and is currently the Program Manager for the Great Plains Colorectal Cancer Program Screening Initiative. Tinka received her bachelor’s degree with a major in social science at Oglala Lakota College and her certificate in public health from the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). Tinka is currently working toward her master’s degree in public health at UNMC. In her free time, Tinka enjoys gardening and riding her horse.
