Amy has worked with the Northern Plains Tribal Epidemiology Center since spring of 2015. Prior to relocating to Rapid City, she worked with a research group at the University of Arizona in Tucson, AZ, on projects using wearable technologies for frailty prevention, diabetes care, and neuropathy treatments. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in physiology and a Master of Public Health. Her master’s research evaluated cross-cultural variations in frailty indicators between U.S. and Mexican cohorts. In her free time, Amy likes to be outdoors as much as possible.
