Erica is a Master of Public Health student at Columbia University. During her internship with GPTCHB, she will be working with the Training and Education Department to create educational documents within the current GPTCHB health curricula and will assist in the development of online courses.
Erica chose to intern at GPTCHB because she strongly believes in working to end inequities in health and wellbeing, especially for young people and families through high quality health education. She recognized an internship with the health board as an invaluable learning opportunity to contribute to the accessibility and effectiveness of health education services for the Great Plains tribal communities.
In her spare time, Erica enjoys pick up soccer, cooking, baking, meditation, and recently, Settlers of Catan.
