Brione is a first year graduate student who is pursuing dual degrees in public health and public administration from South Illinois University Carbondale. Throughout his internship, Brione will assist with developing a cancer survivorship plan resource guide and assist with administering a tribal data product. He is hoping to contribute a viewpoint of another minority population and draw parallels from the tribal population to the other marginalized groups in the U.S. He chose to do an internship with GPTCHB because his main goal in life is to have a positive impact on minority populations.
In his spare time, Brione enjoys playing sports including football, basketball and rugby. He also enjoys learning and believes there is something to gain from every person, book and life experience.
